Course offers continuing education credits/hours in a classroom setting for national curriculum EMT-B course required for county and National Registry Emergency Medical Technician (NREMT) re-certification.
Prerequisites: Students must be 18 years of age or older at the time of registration and have a valid EMT License. Proof of EMT License must be provided to instructor on the first day of class.
Classroom Training: 3 days (8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with 1 hour lunch break) which includes classroom and skills training and final exam. Students must receive 80% or better on the final exam before course completion certificate is issued.
